FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR | RENEE PRINCE (she/her)

Renee Prince has seen the power of the arts to build bridges, open hearts, and brighten futures, and has a passion for creating dynamic arts programs with schools and communities. She began her career as an actor and theatre artist, then quickly fell in love with teaching. Renee was the Education Director at the Creede Repertory Theatre in Creede, CO from 2007 to 2014 and then the Education Associate with Aspen Words, the Aspen Institute’s literary organization, from 2014 - 2016. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre from Northwestern University and a Masters's in Theatre Education from the University of Northern Colorado. Renee loves to learn, and has participated in many intensive creative workshops, including one in Italy with the mask-theatre company Familie Floez. As a founder of this non-profit, she is inspired by VOICES' mission and has been honored to be part of this brilliant team.
